Different religions have an “age of accountability.”
The legal system has an “age of adulthood.”
And puberty hits us with the “age of awkwardness” (thanks, hormones).

But I propose a new milestone: the Age of Pepto Bismol.
You’re not truly an adult until you have to keep Pepto Bismol nearby at all times, lest the twin demons of heartburn and indigestion take up permanent residence within you.

    Yeah, no.

If you need to keep a bottle of Pepto close at all times, you’re not old, you just need to change your diet. Figure out what you’re eating that’s doing that to you.

Everyone has different reactions and tolerances to different things. You need to know your own body.

Age is not the issue. I’m mid 40s and never had to use it. I’d wager it’s your eating and drinking habits.

This - I’m in my forties, I have never suffered any of these conditions and I don’t think any of my friends have either. What do you guys do to your bodies over there?

I haven’t had to use antacids since I quit drinking, FYI.

I had brief time I might have needed it recently, but I think that was bad food.

Time to take a look at your eating and drinking habits.

What age is this supposed to hit? I feel grateful I have avoided this ailment as well as back problems. Although I have others I could yell at clouds about.
