I would word it a bit differently and make it more “samurai-y”, but the basics are there.

I would probably do something like フラッシュ内容のものを観てみるが、フラッシュがインストールされていません。

and play with it to sound more old-timey and samurai-i (which I failed to do just now so you only get the above). I am not a native speaker and, arguably, not even a good one, so take that for whatever it’s worth.

Edit: I actually was trying to find out why ‘Flash’ was actually called that and can’t find an authoritative answer. I wanted to do some creative lyrical stuff which with words to use as flash (電光石火 for example is flash as in ‘like a flash’, but there’s 閃く which is a normal verb meaning to flash in the visual (non-perverse) sense).

I think it’s meant to be a “Cleopatra is closer to us than the building of the great pyramid” or something like that, but I’m not sure either.

Various places in Japan, yes. Most, if not all, major urban centers require a parking cert from the police station saying they’ve verified your parking spot. There are exceptions (some places don’t require for kei cars, I’m pretty sure I didn’t need one for my motorbike in Tokyo, etc.)

I didn’t need one where I moved in rural Tohoku for my kei car, but I think I’d need to get one if I got a full-sized vehicle.

When I first moved to Japan and was shopping at a supermarket, I noticed they sell yakisobapan. so grilled noodles in bred. I guess as a kid I would use my garlic bread to make a little sandwich with spaghetti so I kinda get it, but still.
