  • The only thing costco really has going for it is the odd item that is truly on sale, dependable low prices on some stuff, and quality control. Quality control is the big one. I can’t remember most of the tests now, but when olive oil was being looked at, costco was one of the two brands out of something like 32 that was actually what it said on the label. On a couple of other things as well that I remember, like honey, they had the same finding.

  • I’m trying to think here… I think dog #1 was found next to the dumpster of an apartment complex. Dog #2 was from a shelter and had been picked up next to the dumpster of an apartment complex. Dog #3 was from a stray that whelped underneath someone’s trailer home and everyone who knew the homeowner pitched in to help adopt out the pups. All great dogs, aside from #1 who was pretty territorial.

Meanwhile, my aunt bought a breeder dog (a white lab), and that was also an amazing dog with a lot of health issues. I think she paid bookus for it, so I’m on top of that particular fight.

  • Lol, you could only wish. The money gets spent on two-five consultants who come up with a powerpoint that could have been made by preteens given an assignment of ‘name ways to deescalate a conflict.’ I remember when there was a training about cops and dogs, because someone ‘important’ finally had their dog shot by a cop. The training was almost literally what you would come up with if you did a quick search on dog behaviors and copy/pasted the worst seo slop article into a powerpoint format.
