      They only fly in Mexico (and southern Texas) though. Science literally doesn’t know why. Oh and for some reason it’s only the ones big enough to confuse for squirrels.

        And they taunt you! They’ll either crawl up or jump out at you to make you panic, but those fuckers quickly meet my chancla.

        We also have the tiny ones that I’ve began squishing with my bare hands. Fuck it, I don’t care anyone, there are so many of them despite having a clean house. I think I kill 3-4 per night.

        I mean, cockroaches are largely decomposers with photophobia. There isn’t much need to fly when you live in cramped, dark spaces. That doesn’t mean they don’t have the ability, which is what I’m contesting.

          Yeah. Most Mexican cockroaches don’t give a flying patootie about light. Some scramble but you’ll see them during day and they will fly straight at your face. They’re wicked fast and hard to kill too. And they make noise. They’re in a class of their own.
