Lots of people responding here are missing your point

No, they’re making a counter-point, that’s not the same thing. Their point is:

If somebody you know voted for Trump is now struggling to understand what’s going on, and they voice this thought to you, take it as an opportunity

To laugh in their faces and mock them, as they deserve. Because these people have already gotten the nice attempts, and can now eat shit

Which is probably why op is blaming non-voters

Should probably blame the people who actually voted for the guy and not an unrelated third party

Bunch of butthurt authoritarians whining about people they failed to engage and saying “but that’s the system we’re in” like that doesn’t apply equally to having to convince people to vote FOR you

    both-sides-bad

I do say that, but critically I do not say both sides equally bad or in the same way

    centrists

    Lol, not a centrist

    who empowered Donald Trump

Voted for Harris here in California, where my vote wouldn’t have mattered had it been for anyone else anyway and actively vandalized trump signs in my area, but go ahead and pretend I in any way helped get orange man elected if it makes you feel better

This stuff again about “true-left” and what not

    Liberals literally aren’t left-wing, it’s a right-wing ideology

Framing all liberals as part of the problem ignores the bigger picture

No, it correctly claims that they’re right wingers and thus, problematic

Many liberal voters are just politically disengaged or confused about what’s happening

    Not an excuse at all

Anybody that opposes “right-wingism” is good enough of a leftist to me

    That’s not Liberals

The real question is how do we win them over instead of letting the right absorb them?

Beat them violently into submission, as they deserve

  • The audio is out there, being pretty familiar with air accidents and radio call outs:

ATC wasn’t clear, they just said “go behind that plane”, yet if you listen to literally any of the other ATC callouts in the surrounding 10m they’re all proper with heading and altitude like “AAL111 go to 3000’ and hold heading 270”, yet with the helo he just says “go behind them”

The helicopter doesn’t change heading at all and just basically plows into the passenger jet (from what I can see on the ATC map anyway), so I think either they misjudged their speed vs the jet they hit or mistook it for another jet

Either way: ATC should have been more clear, heli pilot should have asked for clarification before proceeding without any change or even slowed when the uncertain command came through
