That’s vendor specific. I’ve never had a phone that supports that.
Also there few times I’ve tried it went even worse than trying to use volume and power.

This is one.
What are you trying to run? a VPS is pennies, and a phyiscal server isn’t much more. We have a bunch of servers that are $40 a month each and they come with 5 usable IPs, 32 gigs of ram, 1tb SSD etc. The cost of getting a static IP for home will be almost as much as a server. If you want less you can get less for a lot less money.
I’ve self hosted my own personal website for years now and it’s not really an issue outside of the power going out and my IP changing. I just update DNS and move on. But if this is for an actual work? Just pay the $10 a month, not having to worry about it is worth that money.
Almost everyone on uber eats (and similar services) mark up their items. This sausage burrito meal is $10 on uber eats and is 8 something in store
Delivery fee 5.99
tip (whatever you want to pay)
For a normal meal this will more than double the price. Order just about anything else and you’re easily at $30 with still almost half the price being the delivery.
Facebook also has a lot of tools for multiple people at a business to manage and delegate all these chats to different people.
AI crawlers and sending them down an “infinite maze” of static files with no exit links, where they “get stuck”
Maybe against bad crawlers. If you know what you’re trying to look for and just just trying to grab anything and everything this should not be very effective. Any good web crawler has limits. This seems to be targeted. This seems to be targeted at Facebooks apparently very dumb web crawler.
Your options are:
Walgreens
Some pharmacy on the other side of town that’s failing because they’re getting overcharged for drugs (if you’re lucky)
Who says it’s overkill?
That said I literally started selfhosting on a Thinkpad W520. With the full 32 gigs of ram it ran ESXI great. Plus you can’t beat a built in UPS.
I was going to buy a mini PC to run along with it when I needed more, but I just opted to take old desktop parts and combine my NAS with everything else.
Just because you don’t see them doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
Being white (thanks autocorrect)quiet is exactly what they want. They want to snuff out all opposing voices so only their own can be heard.
Usually in bigger cities that’s the case. But small towns can be REALLY hit or miss. If there’s traffic sensors they generally do a good job at keeping traffic flowing. But you will know if you’ve hit a light that doesn’t have them, or is purposefully time poorly.
There’s one in my city that is impossible to make unless the second it turns green I gun it. Sometimes I have a second or two to spare. But if there’s ANYONE in the way you will not make that light.
There’s also the cost of space. For a mall with high traffic that makes sense. For something like a McDonald’s? No not so much.
Also you’re paying for like 3x more wall. You have all that added depth, plus two 2/3 of a wall.
Car manufacturers are required by law to offer the same tools that dealers use for independent repair shops to repair their vehicles.
Some cars are more programmable than others. BMWs for example you can change pretty much anything about the car. But most cars aren’t as modifiable as them.
Good point. I always forget about Teslas starlink when talking about Subarus
This just makes me glad I removed the starlink box from my outback the first month I got the car.
If anyone wants to do the same in my 2018 (most gen 5s should be the same) you remove the radio and the starlink box is inside it. Removing the box breaks your front speakers and microphone. A simple passive pigtail will fix the speakers, but the microphone needs power. I found a guy online who made the active adapter so it was purely plug and play.
Did anyone expect anything less? Trump was great for their profits.
The longer the better. All videos should have a minimum length of 1 hour.
The 4090 FE was doable in larger systems. But I really doubt a 5090 would fit in anything considered SFF. Even stretching the definition to the max.
Apparently the 5090 is the same length as the 4090, but only two slots. Maybe it’s taller but it’s hard to tell. That siad cooling the rest of your system will be much more of an issue with almost 600 watts getting blown around in there.
