My favorite theory at the moment is that life has always been here, before the planet.
Back when the universe was smaller, before mass was formed as stars and planets, the density of free floating mass was at some point high enough that there would have been temperatures around 20°c everywhere in the universe and water and other molecules were floating freely in space. At that point, for millions of years, life could have evolved in space.
When the universe expanded, mass got separated and formed into galaxies, planets and stars from gravity, while life was just dormant luggage hiding everywhere possible. On Earth the conditions once again got just right to step out of hibernation and evolve, but it could potentially happen on any other planet as well.
I like this theory because it doesn’t involve as much random chance and it could mean that we can discover life elsewhere in our own solar system, instead of only hoping that future generations will eventually encounter it in other star systems…
YouGov is a poll that pays points pr. poll. These points can be used to buy actual products or gift cards worth real money. Lots of people click through them without reading the questions.
They sometimes add “click option 2 to verify that you’ve read the question”, but even then it’s likely that some percentages just click the right option by chance. On a short poll like this, they probably didn’t even do the check.
Correct. He can’t put a tariff specifically on Denmark at all. The only way to target Denmark specifically is by putting a tariff on goods that are exclusively made in Denmark. That would be a bad idea, since the main export to USA is medicine. The Americans are already moaning about the price of medicine, so it’ll interesting to see their reaction if Trump raises the price further for no good reason.
What is the efficiency of an internal combustion engine in cold weather, for comparison?
At least the EV starts every damn time.
The Swedish strike is still ongoing. The German protest against their factory is still ongoing. The cyber truck can never be approved for use on roads in all of Europe. Every fourth Tesla fails the first EU-inspection. The average for all cars is 3%, so it’s exceptionally bad.
I don’t think a boycott is even necessary. There are enough reasons not to buy a Tesla.
It doesn’t. It’s mainly the toothbrush that cleans the teeth.
Why wouldn’t they? Pension funds invest in everything
My pension company gives me the option to choose a risk profile to limit how they are allowed to invest my money. The safest investments aren’t always the best over time, so currently I have a medium risk which will be sloped down as I get closer to retirement. I could also get a more direct control of their investments, but that requires a lot more time and worry than I’m willing to use.
Are any of these lovable Americans in the room with us now?
Mercedes already has some very nice EVs with very long ranges. They’re far ahead of the competition, but they also cost 10 times more. You can litteraly buy 10 other EVs or a friggin mansion for the same as one Mercedes.
It’s true that Mozart disliked her. His own letters confirm that. It’s unproven if he wrote the soprano voice that way to make her bob her head.

Also, the location is the Simpsons living room.
Big companies already have elected boards. Someone has to be the secretary.
I think it’s an important role. It’s just over paid.
Honestly, we should have more CEOs too. They shouldn’t be paid as much, but we definitely don’t want fewer people running more companies.
Yes. There are plenty of people willing to do the job, including all the nasty shit they deal with, but then they see the pay and it’s simply a better decision to push papers around instead.
The willing to do the job is also being used against the nurses. Strikes are very difficult for them, because they have a real responsibility and it is extremely hard to stop caring for the patients.
Maybe he’s right.
Billie Joe has been married to the same woman for more than 30 years. That’s a lot more family value than the MAGA idol ever managed in any of his several marriages.
Green Day also didn’t encourage people to attack the Capitol, unlike the “patriot” MAGA idiots.
It’s a low bar, but Green Day is a lot more respectful and respectable, even by their own definitions.
Literally unreadable.
