Exactly, lol. Lemmy is just as bad as Reddit. Just with less bots, less people in general, but way more tankies!
155 upvotes and not a single positive comment? Seems lile someone has benn using bots to upvote…
XM34@feddit.orgto memes@lemmy.world•Why this doesn't make anime more popular, I'll never know.English61·20 days agoSee, there’s a big problem. Medival/Legal Dramas are boring, samey and unimaginative. But at least there isn’t a 50% chance to get random incest/pedophile/sexist scenes pushed in your face out of nowhere and without any significance to the plot.
I love animes, but the amount of time I put into filtering out disgusting fan service is too damn high and also stopping me from recommending it to most of my friends. We need more anime like Frieren, Dungeon Meshi and One Piece pre timeskip and less Shield Hero and Goblin Slayer!
XM34@feddit.orgto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•The sheer amount of websites that are completely unusable without JavaScriptEnglish1·21 days agoHtmx requires JS. At that point you already failed in the eyes of the purists. And CDNs exist for a reason. You can’t expect a website to guarantee perfect uptime and response times without the use of CDNs. And don’t get me started on how expensive it would be to host a globally requested website without a CDN. That’s a surefire way to get a million dollar bill from amazon!

But no matter what framework you use, let’s all be glad that we’re not like those reality averse people complaining in this thread 🙏
XM34@feddit.orgto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•The sheer amount of websites that are completely unusable without JavaScriptEnglish01·21 days agoSo, your site still doesn’t work without JS but you get to not use all the convenience React brings to the table? Boy, what a deal! Maybe you should go talk to Trump about those tariffs. You seem to be at least as capable as Flintenuschi!

Yeah, that’s also bullshit. Anything even remotely in favour of Israel will get you banned on a lot of communities. It’s just a different flavour of ban reasons.
