He doesn’t need an excuse though. He’s going to do it no matter what happens. There is absolutely no hope he won’t, just because you don’t make a fuzz about it. It’s not like he’s just now thinking: “well now they’ve done it! They’ve gotten violent! I gotta make concentration camps, and use military personel and weapons to quell their protests, and maybe even attack the whole democratic process!”. He’s already doing it.

Republicans are currently funding Israel. Republicans are currently aiding a genocide. Republicans are currently killing democracy in USA. Republicans are currently threatening their allies with war.

Only focusing on how horrible the democrats are (and I agree they are), takes the spotlight away from the much much worse shit the republicans are currently doing, in addition to doing exactly what the democrats want to do.
