I had one moto razr and I did phone flip tricks with it all the time. If it didn’t get dropped into the depths of the inlet while paddle boarding I’d still be fiddling with it

they say it tastes like gamey pork and on that basis, no
so I recalled hearing about some kid who watched the lion king and wrote about wanting to ‘become lion king’. Part of the discussion where I heard about it was questioning if he meant becoming the movie or one of the lions.
Anyway, he wrote about having the movie buried with him, and maybe killed himself. I’m fuzzy on that part and never found it again to verify.
that reminds me of when I was telling a friend about the kid who became lion king. he didn’t believe me and when I tried to find it, any trace of the story had disappeared from this plane of existence

not even just social platforms, so many businesses have risen from the ashes of similar businesses that chased off their customers, then went on to repeat the failures of their predecessors. humans, particularly in positions of power or authority, don’t learn from their own mistakes so why would they ever learn from the mistakes of others.
its the custom firmware that does it, the layout and layers I just made up as I needed them but its flashing the firmware every time I want to change something. There are other keyboards and keyboard firmwares that can do this, I use qmk, and its possible to mod normal keyboards to varying difficulty. The keyboard I have is a semi diy that came as a kit but there are others ready to use but still customizable in firmware. I think there was also another kb firmware that let you live edit the layouts without flashing firmware using a config software but I haven’t looked in to it.

I have an fn1 and fn2 key on my preonic and holding fn1 replaces qwer, asdf, zxcv with f1-4,f5-8,f9-12 and fn2 does f13-24 in the same positions. some games have been able to map things to them but the glyphs tend to not work, but mostly I use them for global shortcuts like turning on or off the mobo LEDs, multi monitor layout presets, etc
my forst thought would have been dicks lumber down the street but I dont know if they put their name on the wood
could be a cilantro tastes like soap or a broccoli tastes like sewage kind of thing.
the cilantro one is genetic supposedly, the broccoli is that one guy on lemmy and I still want to know if its also genetic or any other reason but there probably aren’t enough people with the correct skill set that care enough to figure it out.
I also don’t like rose in food but its mainly because someone I always hated as a kid, and still don’t want to be anywhere near, smelled like rose
the main reason the ereader works for me is the ability to override pretty much every aspect of the text. I can do most non glossy paper and text but some books and especially textbooks are a real bitch and everyone thought I was just making shit up when I was in school. text size is usually ok but I tend to make it bigger so I dont need glasses
I wouldn’t find the backrooms scary if it had plenty of cubicles
10 years ago I ate a lot of bulk bagged cereal. at the time even some of the ‘natural/organic’ brands were cheaper by weight. I stopped when it became about the same and I was also sick of cereal. probably close to 7 years ago like you said.
ebook is the only way to guarantee I can read the book. page material and gloss, layout, spacing, kerning, etc. can all combine in various ways to make me inexplicably unable to read or have a really hard time reading where I have to focus really hard on each letter rather than each sentence. Oled has made is possible for me to read large bodies of text on phones but for full books I always go for the eink.
as usual, I’m going to not buy one even stronger. also as usual new phones offer literally nothing over the past few generations. The only reason I would buy a new one is total destruction of my existing one, or linux phones becoming ready for daily driving in both hardware and software
