Yeah I noticed this too. Brutal.

“Two men say they’re Jesus. One of 'em must be wrong.”
A curated algorithm on Youtube is honestly amazing. I get comments about mine all the time when people come over and see it on my TV.
This is the way to be. Any time I see someone else’s feed in YT I almost always cringe in horror at what they’re being force fed. Curate your algorithms folks!
Watch history is useful if you actively curate your algorithm feed. If you don’t engage with the tools the algorithm interacts with you can quickly end up with a free-for-all on your main page.
If anything I feel like it got better after marriage.
Then by default it should never be considered safe. Honestly, this “open” release… it makes me wonder about ulterior motives.
Has anyone actually analyzed the source code thoroughly yet? I’ve seen a ton of reporting on its open source nature but nothing about the detailed nature of the source.
FOSS only = safe if the code has been audited in depth.
What’s wild is that YouTube has become the most positive place for me on the internet lately. The algorithm is so tightly curated towards my interests in music, technology, arts, etc… I don’t allow anything but topics related to my hobbies to exist on my algorithm. It’s truly awesome to know that Youtube has the capacity for greatness if you engage with the algorithm curation tools and stop engaging with content you don’t want to see.
Small McDouble combo is like $5.80 in Canada right now. Shit’s almost cheaper than groceries.
Umm, we live in a society ok? If there is a sign that says you cannot park or stop somewhere, you do not stop or park there.
If your car is in park, you are parked. End of story. You do not get to decide that you are the exception to traffic regulations.
Your parked car is likely disrupting traffic flow which wastes everyone’s time. Stop doing that.
Its not just notifications. Its also them watching entire videos at high volume in waiting rooms, ads and everything. That or its endless scrolling and completely unrelated audio blasts chained together doing literal psychic damage to everyone around.
It drives me fucking NUTS. The worst part is they’re the ones that will be the first to complain about kids these days being glued to their phones.
Is this theoretically possible?
Honestly, as a newbie to Linux I think the ratio of well documented processes vs. “draw the rest of the fucking owl” is too damn high.
The rule seems to be that CLI familiarity is treated as though its self-evident. The exception is a ground-up documented process with no assumptions of end user knowledge.
If that could be resolved I think it would make the Linux desktop much more appealing to wider demographics.
That said, I’m proud to say that I’ve migrated my entire home studio over to linux and have not nuked my system yet. Yet… Fortunately I have backups set up.
Bootstrapping See the Application section specifically.
FOSS = Free/Open Source Software TCP = Transmission Control Protocol VPN = Virtual Private Network
These words mean a lot actually. Pretty basic terms when it comes to the internet.
Your comment insinuates that you have trouble finding gamers on the platform, as if there’s a finite limit on creator count and the gamers are getting pushed out by non-gaming creators, which is obviously not the case.
Is it a matter of going to Twitch for games but then getting roped in by the porn instead? If so, that’s pretty funny tbh.
Coffee is only coffee if the coffee part of the drink is > 50% of the volume. In North America, lots of people drink a mixture that would actually have you curious about that ratio.
