It actually goes deeper than I could have imagined. As an experiment I tried to see what it would look like if Albania was somewhere else.
I was shocked to find that NO MATTER WHERE I PUT Albania on the globe, I could still draw a straight line between it and Easter Island.
At first I was suspicious but after experimenting, it is true! I bought a small globe and a hand drill just to verify this theory! Please don’t take mine or anybody’s words for it. Do the experiment yourself!
On the subject of Easter Island not being in contact with another part of the world, it is thought that they are one of the few cultures to have independently created written language.
