As of things stand right now, android is realistically still the only game in town.
If you get an android with a custom ROM you will still be able to install apps, even if f-droid decides that it isn’t worth maintaining the project for a much smaller userbase, someone will fork f-droid or you can still use Obtanium to obtain apps.
EVs need to their their battery replaced every 5 years or so, and from what I understand, the batteries cost as much as the whole car, so it’s a disposable car that you need to repurchase every 5 years.
Meanwhile ICE cars can last for 30 years, and so even if they don’t produce tailpipe pollution, and constant manufacturing and destruction of new cars probably of sets the benefits, specially in countries where electricity is generated from fossil sources (most countries).

I would rather “despair” with a community based distro than using capitalistware were that graph true, however my Arch machine works perfectly fine and have no need to do so. On the other hand corporate distros…

I would agree if you had said Mint or Debian, but a Windows user trying GNU/Linux isn’t going to have an easy time installing and maintaining Arch.
